Yoga classes in English

At Zenmeesters, we offer two weekly yoga classes for English speakers. Some other classes are easy to join when you speak English and understand (a little) Dutch.

Slow Flow Yoga
Slow Flow Yoga has both physical and psychological benefits. It not only improves your body balance, flexibility and core strength, but also heals your mind by removing stress and anxiety. The breathing techniques practiced during Hatha Yoga enhance mindfulness, bring inner peace & improve overall quality of life. This yoga class also helps you to achieve your body goals if done correctly and consistently over a period of time.

Every Thursday at 6:00 PM (18:00 hr)

Meet your teacher

Shalini

Hi there, my name is Shalini. I am an experienced and certified yoga teacher from its very own origin i.e India where I did 2 years of an extensive research and practice on Yoga methodologies. My passion and love for Yoga started almost a decade back during my initial years of studies where I was always interested to learn about alternate and traditional healing methods.

During my yoga training in India, I found out that this is a form of practice, which helps you to develop a deeper connection between mind, body and soul. 

I am specialized in teaching the most ancient and authentic form of Yoga i.e Hatha Yoga, which has both physical and psychological benefits. It not only improves your body balance, flexibility and core strength but also heals your mind by removing stress and anxiety. The breathing techniques practiced during Hatha yoga enhance mindfulness, bring inner peace & improve overall quality of life. It also helps you to achieve your body goals if done correctly and consistently over a period of time. 

Other than Yoga, I have also studied about Human psychology, nutrition and Homeopathy, which gives me a 360-degree awareness about health and nutrition. 

I have recently moved to Zwolle from India with my husband, but my passion and hunger for Yoga motivates me to provide an ancient and Indian authentic experience of Yoga to all the lovely people of Zwolle & The Netherlands. I would be taking my classes in English so people from all countries and communities are welcome to join my class.

In my free time, I enjoy playing badminton, doing Bollywood dance, meditation, swimming and being outdoors with my Husband. In summers, you will also find me hiking over the mountains. Let's meet on the mat!

How to get started

How to book a class
Below you can find the schedule that shows the classes with Shalini. You can directly book a class by clicking on the 'book' button. Our reservation system as well as the Zenmeesters app are available in several languages and will automatically detect the language of your device. While booking your first class, select the pass called 'Proefles - Studio' (Trial class - Studio). This pass is €12,50.

After the first class we offer passes with 5 and 10 credits, as well as subscriptions for 1, 2 and unlimited classes per week. You'll find the terms and conditions in the descriptions of the subscriptions. We'll translate them soon. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
